The Challenge

As the candidates prepared for their exams, one of the biggest challenges they faced was selecting their preferred province for placement. With so many aspirants and limited spots available in each province, choosing the right destination was not only strategic but could also significantly impact their future careers.

The Solution

To address this need, I developed a website specifically designed for TCAES exam candidates. The core feature of the website was to allow users to register their preferred province of destination, providing them with a dynamic, real-time view of how they ranked among other candidates.

Key Features

• Candidate Database Integration: I integrated a comprehensive database containing all exam candidates and their scores. This required meticulous data entry and validation to ensure accuracy, as even a small error could lead to misinformation.
• Search and Registration Functionality: Using SQL, I created a database where candidates could search for themselves, register their preferred province, and immediately see their ranking. This functionality was crucial in helping them make informed decisions about their future placements.
• Real-Time Rankings: One of the standout features of the website was the ability for users to see exactly how many candidates were ahead of them for each province. This real-time data was invaluable, as it allowed candidates to adjust their preferences based on the latest information, making the process more transparent and strategic.

Impact and User Experience

The website quickly became an essential tool for candidates. By providing a clear, real-time overview of their standing in the exam results and allowing them to make informed decisions about their preferred provinces, the website reduced uncertainty and anxiety during a stressful period.

The feedback from users was overwhelmingly positive. Many candidates expressed how the tool helped them feel more in control of their future, as they could strategically choose provinces where they had better chances of securing a spot.

One of the most rewarding projects I've completed was the installation of a comprehensive network system at Hard Rock Málaga. Starting from scratch, we set up the rack cabinet, which included two Ubiquiti PoE switches and a Ubiquiti gateway. The project also involved linking a VPN with monitoring capabilities, installing 12 security cameras, and placing 12 Wi-Fi antennas strategically throughout the venue to ensure seamless coverage for all users.

This large-scale project spanned several days, requiring careful planning and execution. While I can't share all the details due to confidentiality, I can say it was a significant and fulfilling endeavor that showcased the strength of well-coordinated IT infrastructure.

The installation included the complete setup of the network infrastructure, from structured cabling to network device configuration. Each component was carefully planned to ensure maximum efficiency and security of the system.

I was involved in a crucial task at the Vodafone Core facility in Málaga, the hub where all the network cables for the province converge. This facility is the backbone of communication across the region, handling vast amounts of data traffic daily.

The project required us to identify and resolve an issue with a server that had a compromised disk integrity. Navigating through the intricate network of cables and servers, we successfully located the problematic server and addressed the disk issue. This intervention was essential to maintain the stability and reliability of the network, ensuring uninterrupted service for Vodafone users throughout the province.

Working in such a critical environment was both challenging and rewarding, as it underscored the importance of precision and expertise in maintaining the infrastructure that supports modern communication.
